RSI again - early intervention
Some recent cases lead us back to RSI. Please, where there is tingling, pins or needles, numbness or discomfort, especially in the fingers, wrists and/or hands, ask for expert medical opinion to be sought immediately. Early intervention is vital.
Some recent cases lead us back to RSI. Please, where there is tingling, pins or needles, numbness or discomfort, especially in the fingers, wrists and/or hands, ask for expert medical opinion to be sought immediately. Early intervention is vital and every delay makes recovery more difficult.
It is not enough to rely on the opinion of someone who does not have the right medical training.
To get the right mixture of medical and ergonomic knowledge, you should look for a physiotherapist who specialises in ergonomics - you can find a list by searching on the OCPPP site www.physiofirst.org, under 'Find a Physio'. Please be aware that even some GPs are not familiar with what should be done.
