Quicksilver - water, speed and breaking
Quicksilver is a boat with a very large jet engine, in which a chap called Nigel Macknight is going to break the world water speed record in about 2008. Etcom is going with him...
You can read more about this on Nigel's website, www.quicksilver-wsr.co.uk. You might be wondering why you're reading about it here. Well, even world waterspeed record breakers have posture and, probably more to the point, need an ergonomic working position.
So, Etcom is sponsoring Quicksilver, with a little bit of cash, with some ergonomic advice from Joe Langford, our Associate Ergonomist, and with some postural advice from Mannie once the machine has been finished.
